The Centre has been involved with several extension and support projects for both the public and private sector. These include:

• Research and recommendations to the South African Air Force to minimise bird strikes with aeroplanes on and around several air bases as well as Johannesburg International Airport.

• Wildlife management planning and maintenance at Mabula Game Lodge

• Wildlife management planning and maintenance for the nature reserves of the Aventura Resort group and Iscor.

• Many research projects for private game ranches and nature reserves regarding integrated wildlife and recommendations for ecotourism management.
